5 Probiotic-Rich Foods You Should Be Eating!

Probiotics are so amazing for gut health! If you have been on antibiotics within the last year or two, you particularly want to be building up good gut bacteria. A variety of fermented foods are a great source of probiotics because they will diversify the gut. Aim to include one serving of a probiotic-rich food per day! Below are some ideas. You can try some of these with your child who is eating solids as well.

Be aware when browsing items in stores that truly fermented foods use SALT and not vinegar!

NOTE: my daughter LOVED sauerkraut but because she was a messy eater she broke out from the brine. She was not actually allergic, just the acidic nature of the food caused her to get red and itchy. Be aware that this could potentially happen with your little one as well, so go slow.
