Case study: 1 year old with heavy metals and a dozen food reactions.
“Riley was a very late talker, but at about 20 months, a few weeks after we started him on supplements you suggested, he started speaking and his language skills started growing so rapidly! I don’t think this is a coincidence, especially with all the lead in his system.”
In Fall 2024, Jessica T. worked with me to help her 1-year-old toddler with multiple food sensitivities, reflux, and digestive issues. A hair mineral analysis revealed severe mineral depletion and the presence of heavy metals, highlighting the importance of early testing for nutrient deficiencies and childhood food sensitivities.
I created a personalized action plan for him, including targeted food changes, lifestyle adjustments, and key supplement recommendations to support his health. In February 2025, we conducted a follow-up hair mineral re-test to track progress and continue supporting his body.
Recently, Jessica shared an email reflecting on the improvements she has seen over the past year:
Something we didn't even think about before: R was a very late talker, but at about 20 months—just a few weeks after starting the supplements you suggested—he began speaking, and his language skills started growing rapidly! I don’t think this is a coincidence, especially given all the lead in his system.
As for his dozen or so food sensitivities, he seems to tolerate everything now except whole eggs! I’m amazed. Even dairy is okay—he handles cheese fine, though we haven’t tested straight milk yet.
On his most recent hair mineral re-test, he still has some work to do, but his lead levels are cut in half and arsenic is significantly reduced—the two most concerning heavy metals—so I think his body has been focusing on detoxing those first.
I’m really grateful for your guidance in getting us started with this process. I can’t imagine the state R would be in today without it—and without you!
—Jessica T.
This is a common pattern I see in babies and toddlers with food sensitivities, digestive issues, reflux, behavioral challenges, and sleep problems. These issues are often multi-faceted. In many cases, heavy metals are present, along with significant mineral imbalances that can disrupt cellular function and weaken the immune system.
Even if early food reactions have resolved, I frequently see lingering dysfunction and new symptoms appearing in older children with a history of infant food sensitivities.
If you’re interested in testing your child and creating a personalized action plan to support their health, this program is the next best step!
